Process journal 17

In the past few days i have started witting my essays and now i have 1293 words, i am on the the second paragraph and i almost finished it. Now i have almost finished my second paragraph but when i finish my project i think that i will need to put my project in more than three paragraphs so that each of my topics are in about 3 different paragraphs.

Today i continued on my essay. i am now on my second characteristic which is variety of jobs, my essay is going extremely well, i already have 864 words and im only on my second paragraph.

we are now doing our essay and mine is going pretty well, i am not finding any problems with doing it so everything is going perefctley fine, i already finished my plan so now i am writting my essay.

Today i didn't get much work done but at the end i got a pretty good website it is called Roman-empire.net. this website has a lot of information on the religion of ancient Rome and a lot more information about lots of things about ancient Rome. I am planning to bring my folder home and finish of my information so that when it comes time for the essay i will have all the information that i will possibly need.

Today i got some more information on Brain pop and i started using ask.com to find the information that i couldn't find before. Now i have 35 cards, i am going to finish my whole information part of the project today so that than i will be ready to write the essay and the rest of the projects. I think that i might need to make up a few more questions.

Today i was looking at brainpop and i didn't get much information. I have already gotten almost all of the information possible. It will be very hard for me to find the rest of the information because there isn't much information left to find that has to do with my specific questions.

Today i worked abit more on Rome. I focused on Religon and the punishments that the romans had for people who commited crimes or didnt follow their religon, or if they did something bad. The romans had the death penalty for certain things that people did bad things. One of the punishments that romans used to torture people when they did something bad was if a roman killed their father than they were taken to the feild of Mars outside of Rome. They would Then strip them of everything on them and put one of their feet on two pedestals placed a couple feet apart as to expose every part of their bodies. Then they would whip the person covicted of the crime. The crowd was aloud to throw stones at them. This was only one of the punishments for that certain crime. Other crimes also had very hard punishments and most of them lead to death after alot of torture.

Today i didnt get much work done, i finnished everything that had to do with my bibliography and citations but it is harder to find good information on the internet then i thought it would be.

Today it was pretty hard to find to find information on the internet. This is because I was very tired and google and yahoo werent helping me find any information. So today wasn't a very good day but i still found out some information. I think that there was only ever one conspiracey in their government and that was when Julius Ceaser's friends went against him and killed him. Also i found out that it was impossible for the government to be controlled by money because it was an extremely powerful government. But if somebody had alot of money than they had a bigger place in the society than a person with less money or a poor person.

Today i worked mostly on my citations. Then when i finished making my citations i worked on a card. the card was about if the Roman empire could be controlled by money or not. The empire couldn't of course but i found some information about it.

Today i worked more on Rome. I am done using the books and tomorrow we are moving on to the computers. I think that i will find much more information on the computers. Yesterday i didn't get much work done because i had already done all of the work that i could from the books that were available to us.

in the past two days i have done alot of research about slaves and whether or not the different jobs of people affect their day to day lives. The better somebody's job was they could get payed from huge differences, the good buisness people could earn $1500 a day while the poor sewer cleaners only earned $40 a day. Also if a persons job was better paid than they would not only have much more money than the other person but they would also have a much better life. better houses, food and especially entertainment, the people with good jobs would have much better places to sit in colloseams and theatres than the poor people, and the worst of all seats were for the people so poor they had to become slaves.

Today i got a lot of work done. i worked on all of the topics thati had chosen, i got a lot of information on the sacrifices and religious beleifs that they had, i also got information on what level of people got what kind of job. I learnt that their society was very organized but at the same time very unfair. The noble and royal people had much more rights than the civilians and the slaves had no rights at all. Also women had very few rights.

Today i worked on variety of jobs and i focussed on slavery. i got alot of information but i think that i will get a lot more alot faster when we use the computers. i am getting some useful information from the books but it isnt enough and i cant find information that specifically answers my questions. it also takes a longer time to find the information you are looking for with books than it does with computers.

Today i continued working on religon and then i also worked on variety of jobs i got lots of information about the different gods and things like that. i also found alot of information about the different jobs. i never knew that there were so many jobs in ancient times. i thought that there would only be like three. i answered about 3 questions today. i worked pretty well. but i think that i will get much more information much faster on the computers so i am waiting to use them.

today i continued working on my project i am working mostly on religion today because it was the first thing that i found on the book. I worked about sacrifice and worshipping ceremonies. it went well

so far i have found some books that will be helpful to answer the questions that i made about ancient rome. i have also answered a few questions and i have written down the names of the books that i am using the most. So my work is going good
